Downtown Toronto had a friendly visitor last night.
The shoot for Suicide Squad is still going strong here in Toronto with a whole lot of leaked images/updates you’d expect of an outdoor, downtown shoot – in case you were wondering why you’re seeing as much of this movie as you are – but last night we got maybe the most revealing bit of info yet with the sudden appearance of Ben Affleck’s Batmobile.
Last night, in the middle of night, the Suicide Squad set was livelier than ever as they filmed a car chase sequence that appears to feature the Batmobile in hot pursuit of a car that’s just flashy and goofy enough to likely be driven by Jared Leto’s Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn (other set photos confirm). It’s still unclear how prominent Affleck/Batman’s role is going to be in the film, but this shoot suggests maybe more than we initially thought.
