Jason Aldean and Kid Rock Unite: Small Towns, Big Vibes on Rock the Country Tour

Jason Aldean and Kid Rock Unite: Jason Aldean and Kid Rock are gearing up to hit the back roads together. The country musicians just announced their collaboration for the Rock the Country tour, a series of seven “small town” festivals across the United States scheduled from April to July 2024.

Headlining all seven stops are Aldean, 46, and Kid Rock, 52. Joining them at select dates are renowned artists like Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, and others.

“Rock the Country is for everyone who makes this country run and loves America. Nobody knows how to party like Small Town America,” Kid Rock shared in a release.

The tour will visit Kentucky, Alabama, South Carolina, with the seven-stop journey kicking off in Louisiana on April 5 and 6. Each stop promises two days of performances featuring a diverse lineup, including Travis Tritt, Lee Brice, Nelly, Warren Zeiders, Big and Rich ft. Gretchen Wilson, Randy Houser, Uncle Kracker, and more.

Nathan Baugh, president of 46 Entertainment, expressed excitement about the festival’s unique blend of musical talent and small-town charm. “Rock the Country is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of music, community, and the shared love for country music that binds us all together,” he shared.

Presale tickets for the tour will be available Thursday, with public sale beginning Friday.

The festival announcement follows controversies involving both Aldean and Kid Rock. Aldean faced criticism for his song “Try That in a Small Town,” accused of encouraging violence and racism. Kid Rock, on the other hand, received backlash for a video where he shot cases of Bud Light with a semi-automatic rifle.

Despite these controversies, the artists are moving forward with the Rock the Country tour, promising a historic musical journey and a celebration of small-town America.
