Snoop Dogg Smokeless Shift: Embracing the Flame with Solo Stove Partnership

Snoop Dogg Smokeless Shift: Snoop Dogg surprised fans last Thursday with an announcement on social media, stating his decision to give up a certain type of “smoke” that has been synonymous with his career. In a black-and-white post, he wrote, “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.” The rapper later clarified that he was relinquishing traditional smoke, unveiling a partnership with Solo Stove, a smokeless fire pit brand.

Expressing his love for outdoor fires but acknowledging the issue of smoke, Snoop shared his excitement about the collaboration with Solo Stove. In a press release, he mentioned, “Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game, and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family.”

As the official smokesman for Solo Stove, Snoop will release a collaboration on Monday at 4:20 p.m. EDT, exclusively available at solostove.com and goingsmokeless.com.

Some users questioned the seriousness of Snoop’s initial announcement. Actor Lamorne Morris asked him to “Define… smoke,” and @ambie02 wondered if it was April Fool’s Day.

In subsequent posts, Snoop alluded to, but didn’t clarify, his decision to quit smoking. His follow-up posts included a selfie with the caption “Respect my privacy ” and another selfie the next day with a gust of air emoji in the caption.

Despite the uncertainty, many celebrities, including Queen Latifah, Jhené Aiko, and Maya Rudolph, showed support in the comments. Aiko wrote, “You got this, Unc!!” and Micro TDH commented, “Not smoking it’s the new smoking.”

Snoop’s announcement coincided with the launch of his product with Martha Stewart, the “Best Buds Bags.” The limited edition crossbody bag, according to Snoop’s statement to The Source, includes his favorite lighter, color, and secret stash pockets for herbs. Additionally, a lighter collection co-created with Stewart is set to debut next year.

While Snoop Dogg has famously incorporated references to marijuana in his music, he has also established several businesses in the cannabis industry, including the branded weed line, Leafs by Snoop, and participation in the cannabis investment fund Casa Verde. In 2022, he collaborated with TSUMo Snacks to create Snazzle Os, cannabis-infused onion ring chips.
