Lindsay Lohan Mean Girls Night: Lindsay Lohan made a surprising return to the limelight, appearing at the New York premiere of Mean Girls, the musical adaptation derived from the 2004 film where Lohan gained fame. Her presence on the red carpet showcased a fashionably stunning ensemble, proving her status as a distinct and stylish figure, far from the conventional image of a mother.
Dressed in an elegant long-sleeved black dress by Alexandre Vauthier, Lohan exuded grace with a beautifully adorned cutout featuring silver crystals. The outfit, complemented by black ankle-strap heels and matching silver earrings, was a testament to her refined sense of style.
During an interview, when asked about being considered a “cool mom,” Lohan, who recently welcomed her son Luai with husband Bader Shammas in July, expressed her hopes for such an identity.
Her presence at the premiere involved not only solo photo sessions but also group snapshots alongside notable figures such as Lorne Michaels, the creator of Saturday Night Live, and Tina Fey, the original film’s writer.
Earlier, Lohan reunited with her former Mean Girls cast in a nostalgic Black Friday commercial for Walmart. The advertisement revisited iconic moments from the beloved film, portraying the characters from North Shore High School as adults engaged in Black Friday shopping at Walmart.
Though the 2024 adaptation of Mean Girls sees Angourie Rice in the role Lohan originally portrayed, Lohan’s legacy in the film endures. The movie-musical adaptation, written and starring Fey, retains the essence of the original work while featuring Renée Rapp from Sex Lives of College Girls in the role of Regina George. Notably, Fey is also producing the project in collaboration with Michaels, and the film’s choreography comes from the acclaimed Kyle Hanagami, known for his popular YouTube dance videos.
