Kenny Chesney Return to Gillette Stadium Marks an Unforgettable Night for No Shoes Nation

Kenny Chesney Return: Kenny Chesney is set to return to Gillette Stadium in 2024, delighting the No Shoes Nation once more. The country music superstar will make his 22nd appearance at the home of the New England Patriots on Friday, August 23, 2024, as part of his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour.

Despite his strong ties to Foxborough and its loyal fans, this concert will be only the second this decade for Chesney at the venue. His 2020 and 2021 shows were postponed due to the pandemic, and his I Go Back 2023 Tour bypassed large arenas like Gillette in favor of smaller markets he performed in during the early stages of his career.

The Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour takes its name from Chesney’s 2004 album “When The Sun Goes Down.” The album’s single of the same name, featuring Chesney in a Red Sox hat in the music video, is a duet with singer-songwriter Uncle Kracker, who will join Chesney on the tour.

Chesney explained the tour’s name, saying, “I wanted a name that suggested – obviously – when all the good stuff starts to happen. The one thing I’ve learned about No Shoes Nation and these stadium shows is they start the good times early and they just keep it going. But we all know, when the sun goes down, that’s when people really get loose and enjoy themselves.”

Joining Chesney and Uncle Kracker at Gillette Stadium will be Megan Moroney, a 2023 CMA Song of the Year and New Artist nominee, and, in a surprising twist, the acclaimed Zac Brown Band. Zac Brown Band has a track record of high-energy country performances and has achieved remarkable success at Fenway Park, even earning an induction into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame in 2022.

Tickets for Kenny Chesney’s 2024 Gillette Stadium concert will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Pre-sales, including VIP, Platinum, American Express Early Access, artist, official fan club, Stadium, Ticketmaster, and Spotify pre-sales, will be available before the general sale date.

Kenny Chesney’s addition to the 2024 Gillette Stadium Concert Series lineup follows announcements of metal legends Metallica and fellow country superstar Zach Bryan. It promises to be an unforgettable musical journey for fans in Foxborough.
