Travis Kelce Relationship: During a press conference in Frankfurt, Germany, Kansas City Chiefs’ star Travis Kelce faced a bold personal question from an international reporter. The reporter, seemingly unfazed by the international setting, asked Kelce about his budding romance with singer Taylor Swift.
Kelce, 34, responded to the question with a good-natured grin, saying, “The latest status is I got to see her last week. That’s the latest status right there.” The reporter didn’t let up and quickly followed with, “And the second question was…are you in love?” Kelce, still smiling, maintained his composure, replying, “I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal.”
The couple has been in the spotlight since Swift’s initial attendance at one of Kelce’s games, a Chiefs’ victory against the Chicago Bears on September 24 in Kansas City. Swift has since been seen at several more games, sitting with Kelce’s friends and family, and cheering on the two-time Super Bowl winner.
Their most recent public appearance together was after the Chiefs’ 31-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on October 22 at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift was seen hanging out with Kelce, his teammate Mecole Hardman Jr., and Hardman Jr.’s girlfriend Chariah Gordon at a post-game gathering. A series of photos on Instagram captured the group’s camaraderie, including a sweet moment where Swift kissed Kelce on the cheek.
Both Swift and Kelce were spotted donning red attire, with Swift supporting the Chiefs in a retro 1990 USA Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt and Kelce in a red plaid shirt.
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid even playfully credited Swift with being a positive influence on Kelce’s athletic performance during a post-game press conference. He remarked, “Kelce is getting better with time. Taylor can stay around all she wants.”
The Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Miami Dolphins in their international game, which kicked off at 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday.
