The Talent Agencies Act prohibits managers from procuring employment for artists, and the commissioner’s decision highlights Blackstock’s receipt of commissions for these deals. The amounts include $1,983,155.70 for The Voice coaching role, $208,125 for the NCL promotional deal, $450,000 for the Wayfair collaboration, and $93.30 for hosting the Billboard Music Awardsall now to be reimbursed to Clarkson.
