Reba McEntire Ring Sparks: Reba McEntire made quite a statement on the red carpet ahead of The Voice’s first live episode on Monday, December 4, by wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger, sparking engagement rumors with boyfriend Rex Linn.
In response to the speculation, the 68-year-old country icon teased, “I just found it,” during an Entertainment Tonight interview, suggesting she intentionally left room for speculation. Her brand manager, Leslie Matthews Duggar, played along, stating, “I told Leslie, ‘Imma put something over here, just let everybody talk about it.'”
For the actual live show, Reba discreetly removed the ring, leaving viewers curious about the bauble.
Expressing her openness to marriage, Reba, who has been dating 67-year-old Rex since 2020, clarified during a Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen appearance in October, “I said, If you want to, thats fine with me. Ive been married twice. Hes never been married. So, if he wants to, that’s totally up to him.”
Laughing about the prospect of a ceremony, she shared, “Weve talked about [getting married] and giggled about it. We thought, Man, if we ever did have a ceremony, we would have to have a 2 oclock, 4 oclock, 6 oclock and an 8 oclock because we have so many friends, acquaintances, and family.'”
Reba and Rex’s journey began when they first met on the set of 1991s The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw. Their friendship blossomed into a romance in June 2020, with Reba affectionately calling him “the love of [her] life.”
