How to Train Your Dragon Star Cast: Julian Dennison and Talented Ensemble Take Flight in Epic Reboot

How to Train Your Dragon Star Cast: Julian Dennison, known for his roles in A24’s upcoming Y2K and Deadpool 2, takes on the character of Fishlegs in Universal Pictures’ live-action adaptation of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon. Joining him are Gabriel Howell as Snotlout, Bronwyn James as Ruffnut, and Harry Trevaldwyn as Tuffnut. Mason Thames and Nico Parker will star as Hiccup and Astrid, respectively, in this film directed, written, and produced by original How to Train Your Dragon filmmaker Dean DeBlois.

Producing this exciting reboot is three-time Best Picture Oscar nominee Marc Platt from Marc Platt Productions, along with Adam Siegel, President of Marc Platt Productions. The film is set to hit theaters on June 13, 2025.

Dennison recently completed his lead role in A24’s Y2K, produced by Jonah Hill, and is set to appear alongside Jaeden Martell and Rachel Zegler.
